Description by OLDIES.com:

The 1950s was the heyday of TV quiz shows where it seemed anyone with a dream, a little luck, and quick mental reflexes, could win fabulous cash prizes. Have a blast from the past with these outrageously entertaining rarities.

Treasure Hunt: Wisecracking host Jan Murray gives contestants a chance to pick one of 30 treasure chests on the studio stage. Will it be the chest containing a 1958 refrigerator, a mink coat - or $3,900?

Juvenile Jury: Out of the mouths of babes oft time come gems! Jack Barry is the host of this hilarious children's panel in which five clever kids offer their solutions to some very bizarre problems.

Dollar a Second: What some people won't do to win Jan Murray's money! As the clock ticks, contestants must respond correctly to the host's rapid-fire questions - or else perform humiliating stunts before the live studio audience!

It Could be YOU!: This heartwarming show starring Bill Leyden reunites winners with long-lost relatives and friends.

Lost Quiz Shows of the 50s: Treasure Hunt/Dollar A Second, It Could Be You Movie Lover: from Orlando, FL US -- March, 30, 2009

Watched "Treasure Hunt", "Dollar A Second" and "It Could Be You". I remember watching both "Treasure Hunt" and "It Could Be You". Jan Murray's jokes were funnier on "Treasure Hunt". I don't remember the "Dollar A Second" that is here (Dare I ask, who drank all those glasses of wine they poured? They were making me thirsty), but remember a later one hosted by George Fenneman. In that one, money was taken away from you for every second you failed to answer a question. I also could not remember exactly what "It Could Be You" was about. Thanks for refreshing my memory.

Great! Movie Lover: from mount dandenong, Victoria AU -- March, 31, 2008

I've never liked "Juvenile Jury", But the rest are great. "Treasure Hunt" is exciting, "Dollar a Second" is thrilling and "It Could Be You" is deliciously mawkish. Plus some feature original commercials! Thank you Alpha Video for releasing this DVD.
