Boss of Big Town

War-time racketeers are muscling in on the action at the city food distribution center. They force farmers into raising their prices and then skim the difference into their criminal coffers. The victims of this extortion are afraid to talk to the police, so nothing can be done. The gangsters even approach Mike Lynn, the general manager of the city market, but they've picked the wrong guy. Mike's a man with a conscience, who considers war-profiteering to be the lowest form of treasonous corruption. Believing that the gang has a man on the inside of city government, Mike is determined to flush him out and shut down the criminal enterprise.
